		Cattle mainly cows are the most common type of large domesticated animals. They play a prominent role in the modern society by providing milk and milk products healthier for children to age old people including adults. Mahatma Gandhi is habituated to drink milk of goat and made non voilence movement and brought independence to India after about 800 years of foreign domination. Ongole cattle are indigenous to the Andhra region in the Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh a State of India. Ongole cattle are known for their toughness, rapid growth rate, and natural tolerance to tropical heat. It was the first Indian breed of cattle to gain worldwide recognition.
Pashupati or Pashupatinath is one of the names of Lord Shiva and is mentioned in the Vedas. "Pashu" in Sanskrit means animal and "pati" means lord meaning "lord of the animals" The most ancient representation of Pashupati is traced back to the Indus Valley civilization - a seal depicting a seated horned deity surrounded by animals. Pashupati is also the keeper of souls. He gives life and takes life. One of the most important Pashupati temples is the Pashupatinath temple in Nepal. There is a link between animals and humans for the same reasons many Hindu temples contains animal carvings. These animals(especially cattle) play an important role in the society. These animals are also having life in another form and have sensory organs like humans but cannot speak. Even animal material objects were placed infront of gods in temples. These animals are treated as children of society like child to parents. The standards of society is equivalent to the living conditions of animals. Cow is given a prominent position in Hinduism. If the link between animals and Humans is lost then there is no difference between hinduism(Indus Civilization) and other religions(Civilizations).
