Why did Telangana a newly formed state is interested to provide 10% reservation to muslims? a) State Govt. wants to compete with central Govt. in providing favours to muslims. b) Lower caste people wants to fight up with Upper caste people as this additional reservation is made from unreserved category. c) Fear of oppression as the country is dominated by foreigners for many years. d) Favor from certain sources as muslims are spread over many countries worldwide. e) Political Gains as the capital of Telanagana is dominated by muslims in many areas especially old cities. f) Certain class of people want to take up with other class of people as their presence is limited. f) In gratitude for the rulers Nizams of Hyderabad who dominated for last 400 years in Hyderabad. f) Diverting authorities / general public since Hyderabad is combined capital of Andhra pradesh and Telangana its income also is to be divided equally between two states for this combined period. f) Others |
